Where are you located?: Saegertown, PA
type of photography do you shoot? How long have you been in business?:
focus on wedding and family photography. This is my 5th year!
When did you first join the Kraft & Jute family?: 2012
do your clients say when they see your Kraft & Jute Packaging?
Anyone ever pass out? :):
I’ve had lots of positive reactions to the
packaging so far. Most people feel it right away – it’s has a great
texture quality about it that’s irresistible.
favorite Kraft & Jute Packaging product that you can’t live
The single CD sleeve because it’s what got me started with
Kraft & Jute. My brides think it’s so cute!
Best advice that
you’ve been given in your photography career?:
Being a wedding
photographer goes beyond taking pictures: be prepared to pin
boutonnieres, bustle wedding gowns, show how to cut the cake, coordinate
the order of events to keep things flowing at the reception, etc.
Sometimes those great captured moments need a little creative
What is your most used Photoshop (or
Lightroom) tool, plug-in, or action set etc.?:
I’m a big fan of Kubota
Photoshop actions, and the iris enhance tool in Lightroom when I really
want to make a portrait “pop” 🙂
If you and your camera were
invisible for one day, what would you shoot?:
Oooo….maybe a birth?
Just having had a baby myself 9 months ago, I think it would be a really
beautiful thing to be able to capture for a couple and it is way out of
my element and therefore exciting! Plus, I wouldn’t seem like such a
creeper if I were invisible 🙂
We want the good stuff here, so
don’t hold back. Tell us a story of something funny, embarrassing or
suspenseful that happened during a shoot.:
During my very first newborn
shoot, this beautiful, completely naked baby boy peed all over my
ottoman….in my living room! I felt like such an amateur at the time
but I definitely laughed about it. Thank goodness for OxiCean!
split your pants or get injured all in efforts to capture that special
Definitely fell in plenty of snow and water! I’ve never split my
pants, but I did have some minor contractions while I was shooting
almost 9 months pregnant that made me pause for a bit!
If you were in a public area and everyone was skipping instead of walking, would you join the fun?:
Absolutely. No hesitation.
What is your current state of mind after completing this survey?:
