Michell King of Michell Leigh Photography presents the perfect packaging solution by customizing each of her Kraft & Jute Presentation Boxes a little different for each couple. All
of Michell’s boxes that she presents to clients include a few of her favorite photos of the
couple, a photo frame, and candy or a gift card
depending on their personality.
“I love the look of all your products
and I am anticipating your home line coming this fall!” Golly gee Michell, thanks for making us blush, as well as making our products look so amazing! 🙂 To see for yourself, scroll down for product photos and our interview with this creative individual. Thanks for sharing Michell!
Where are you located?: Youngstown, OH
type of photography do you shoot?: Mainly wedding photography with occasional family sessions and a side of
seniors and newborns.
When did you first join the Kraft & Jute family?: About 2 years
ago while looking for something different than everyone else was using.
do your clients say when they see your Kraft & Jute Packaging?
Anyone ever pass out? :): My clients absolutely love my packaging! I
tend to work with the ‘artsy’ and creative crowd so they really
appreciate the look and feel of Kraft & Jute products when I deliver
Name your favorite Kraft & Jute Packaging product that you
can’t live without.: Hmmm.. how about product(s)? The presentation box
is my number one favorite followed closely by the corrugated cd sleeve. I
really love the printed discs as well, nice quality and sharp display
of the logo.
Best advice that you’ve been given in your photography career?:
Never let your camera leave your hand so you are always ready for a
candid moment and never compare yourself to anyone else out there.
What is your most used Photoshop (or Lightroom) tool, plug-in, or action set etc.?: Hands down curves and masks.
If you and your camera were invisible for one day, what would you
shoot?: Hopefully Bigfoot or the Loch Ness monster. They seem to be
camera shy so maybe if I was invisible… 😉
We want the good
stuff here, so don’t hold back. Tell us a story of something funny,
embarrassing or suspenseful that happened during a shoot.: The most
embarrassing thing that has ever happened on a shoot happened when I was
photographing a wedding. The bride and groom were exiting the church,
they had just released some doves and were walking towards the limousine.
I was walking backwards clicking away on my camera and tripped over a
guest and went spilling onto the concrete…. in a dress. All I could
think about was protecting my camera so I did some somersaults with the
grace of an elephant James Bond style and fell hard on my right knee and
scraped my whole right leg in the process. I have since decided my
wedding wear will be pants and a simply adorable blouse 🙂
Ever split your pants or get injured all in efforts to capture that
special shot?: See above. I have also tripped and stumbled numerous
times since I use prime lenses and tend not to watch where I am walking
when zooming in.
If you were in a public area and everyone was skipping instead of
walking, would you join the fun?: After taking a few photos absolutely !
What is your current state of mind after completing this survey?: I am thinking about skipping 🙂
